Minsk Authorities Close Banhalor Square for Pickets

Minsk city executive committee did not permit pickets in support of Alezander Kazulin on Banhalor Square. Today the picket organizer, head of Minsk city organization of BSDP, Aliaksei Sihayeu received a letter signed by deputy chairperson of Minsk executive committee M. Tsitsiankou.
The letter says, “from July 5th -14th construction works will be held on the territory of the park and the square. In conjunction with this, Minsk city executive committee does not permit holding pickets and rallies in the part in the period of July 5th -14th”.
On his part, Alexander Sihayeu plans to offer help to the city administration. Young members of BSDP are ready to help clean and restore the park.
