Only Seven Per Cent of Books Published This Year Are in Belarusian Language

According to the Ministry of Information, in the first six months of 2007, 430 books were published in Belarusian language. This is nine books more than during the same period last year.
Belarusian-language books made up 6.7% of the title list, and 7.1% of the total print run, published in Belarus during the first six months of 2007, reports BELTA.
