Six activists of movement in defense of historical heritage of Hrodna were detained by police on July 3rd. The action participants were taken to Leninski police department of Hrodna. Viasna found out the names of two of the detained activists: Franak Viachorka and Ales Zaleuski. We are trying to find out the names of the rest of the detained.

The activists of the movement in defense of historical heritage of Hrodna wanted to draw attention of Hrodna residents to the fact that the authorities barbarically destroyed historical buildings in the very center of the city. They came out to the central Savetskaya Street, holding a banner and toys: shovels and toy excavators. They planned to build send houses and then destroy them. However, the local law-enforcement officers considered the performance dangerous for the public order and detained them.
