The deputy chair of Homel regional office of the United Civil Party Uladzimir Katsora has described the latest provocation in his application to the chair of Savetski borough police department of Homel.

Two days ago near Katsora’s porch in Uladzimirau street two strangers tried to provoke him to hooligan deeds. One of them purposefully pushed Katsora and stated that the latter was violating the public order. According to RFE/RL, the activist ignored this. Then the man didn’t let him close the door of the porch and followed him till the apartment.

Yesterday two policemen came to the UCP office and handed to Katsora a summons to Homel Savetski police department. They explained that somebody applied to them concerning his swearing and hooliganism (the activist allegedly even spitted in someone’s face).

Uladzimir Katsora decided to write an application to the police department. There he stated that similar provocations against him took place last year, on the eve of the presidential election and after it. He was twice sentenced to different terms of administrative arrest. At that time he was the coordinator of Homel regional election headquarters of Aliaksandr Milinkevich. In his application Mr. Katsora asks the police to find the provocators and punish them. He didn’t come to the police for the fear of being imprisoned again on the eve of the Freedom Day, 25 March.
