Today Lenininski court of Hrodna sentenced pro-democratic activist Andrus Famin to 7 days of arrest. He was accused of swearing in a public place, RFE/RL reports.

The police detained Andrus Famin, the fourth-year student of
Medical University, down town Hrodna on March 19, and charged him with disorderly conduct. Famin was on his way back from the KGB office where he had been interrogated as a witness in a criminal case against activists of Young Front.
