Youth Activist Dzianis Dzianisau Detained

On 16 February the police detained youth activist Dzianis Dzianisau at a railway station in Homel. The police plan to interrogate him in the framework of the criminal case which was initiated last summer in Vitebsk under Article 342 part 1 of the Criminal Code – organization of group actions which seriously violate the public order. Then during the city musical festival numerous white-red-white national flags and flags of the European Union appeared in the city streets.
