Worker of Corrective Labor Facility Illegally Searches Artur Finkevich’s Working Place
As the political prisoner Artur Finkevich informed, in the morning a worker of the corrective labor facility #43 of Mahiliou Iury Murashka came to the place of his work. At first he asked the administration of the enterprise about the prisoner’s behavior: whether he distributed anything or dealt with agitation. Then the policeman made the head of the enterprise lead him to the room where Artur and other workers change their clothes.
‘The policeman Murashka acted lawlessly. He searched the belongings without any documents which are necessary for it. He didn’t compose any report to sum up the results of the search. Besides, two other person change clothes in the same room and he had no right to search their belongings at all. Thus, he violated paragraphs 29 and 31 of part 8 of Internal regulations for open corrective labor facilities of 30 November 2000 that had been adopted by the minister of interior Uladzimir Navumau. I will doubtlessly appeal these actions of the policeman, but now they are clearly looking for a formal reason to issue a third rebuke to me with ensuing transfer to prison,’ explained to HRC Viasna Artur Finkevich.
