An international theatre company hasn’t been allowed to enter Belarus with a play on Svyatlana Aleksiievich’s book”. The visit of the theatre to Homel region was planned for 6-7 December. The Belarusian customs officers twice prohibited actors of Polish theatre Teatr Biuro Podrozy and the Ukrainian Arabeski theatre to cross the border.

Jaroslaw Siajkowski , a representative of the Polish company, said that the problems had been caused by allegedly incorrect documents for carrying inwards stage set. As a result the theatre company had to go back to Poland and make documents once again, European Radio informs.

The Belarusian organizers of the tour state that the artists will perform in Belarus anyway, only the tour plan will be changed.
