According to the UCP press-service, the only representative of the opposition at election commissions is the UCP member from Orsha. It is a former teacher of the Belarusian language and literature Mikalai Kamarouski, who joined the party in 1999. He is a 56-year-old pensioner, but heads a coterie at secondary school #8 where the commission is situated. During the previous election Mr Kamarouski also was the only UCP member who was included in election commissions.
