Police: Defilement of Israeli Culture and Information Center Is Not Deliberate

Partyzanski police department of Minsk refused to initiate proceedings on the fact that the building of a culture center at the Embassy of Israel had been desecrated.

Alexander Kaltsou, head of order and law department of Partyzanski police told BelaPAN, the decision was made after discussion with the prosecutor’s office.

According to Kaltsou, the police did not see any deliberate actions, aimed at fomentation of national hostility, and at degrading national honor and dignity.

The act of vandalism was made in the night of 11-12 November. Swastikas and slogans “Beat the Jews!” appeared on the front of the building which belongs to Israel Culture and Information Center.
