Mikola Astreika Returns Home

On November 17 leader of unregistered organization Partnership Mikola Astreika was released from Shklou prison, reports RFE/RL. The regime of his penalty was changed to corrective labor. Mikola is at home now. Finally he saw his baby daughter Lisa for the first time. His daughter was born while he was in prison.
In the morning Mikola visited a police office which will appoint where he has to work.
Astreika was arrested in February and sentenced for 2 years of jail for participation in an unregistered organization. One more Partnership member Tsimafei Dranchuk, who’s been sentenced to 1 year, is still behind bars.
