Minsk: Aliaksandr Milinkevich Detained at Airport

Yesterday at Minsk- 2 airport frontier guards detained Aliaksandr Milinkevich. The leader of the democratic forces was on his way from Warsaw, where he participated in an important international conference. Mr Milinkevich was released only after a long detention. Border services checked the personal documents of the politician thoroughly. Aliaksandr Milinkevich also states that his luggage received by him after a documents examination, had been searched without his participation and drawing up reports. Milinkevich views his detention as connected with recent provocations against his supporters in Hrodna, Mahiliou and Brest.
