Mahiliou: Police Detain Oppositional Activist Ryhor Kostuseu

Today, at about 12 a.m. on 3 November near the railway station of Mahiliou the police detained Ryhor Kostuseu, the chair of Mahiliou regional branch of Belarusian People’s Front. This information was provided to HRC Viasna by the human rights activist Barys Bukhel. Mr Kostuseu was taken to Mahiliou Leninski Borough Department of Internal Affairs. There the police composed on him a report under article 156 of the Administrative Code (petty hooliganism).
