Workers of Mahilyou corrective facility of open type have carried out two searches of personal things of political prisoner Artur Finkevich last week. As a result, the head of the special commandants office strongly encouraged the prisoner to refuse receiving independent press: Nasha Niva, Narodnaya Volya, a magazine ARCHE and informational bulletins of youth organizations.

The head of the corrective facility is dissatisfied with publishing of articles about life of Finkevich in the colony. In a private conversation the policeman told that prisoners are not prohibited to get the press. And he added that: It would be better for the press not to exist at all. The head of the corrective facility told Artur Finkevich that he would be able to visit family in three months if everything would go well.

Meanwhile Artur Finkevich has finished his first week as an unskilled worker on the brick factory of a Belarusian-Polish enterprise Dream, loading brick and cleaning construction waste.
