A flash-mob as a token of solidarity with tent camp participants took place at October Square.

On April 23 on October Square of Minsk a flash-mob in commemoration of the defenders of the tent camp of March 20-24 was held. Several hundreds of young people were sitting on the square for 5 minutes, touching the ground with palms of their hands. The young say that they claim their solidarity with those who were imprisoned, fired or expelled from universities. Parents with their children also came to the square. The children looking at their parents also touched the ground.

Plenty of special police forces men were at the square, but nobody was detained, Radio Svaboda reports. Stil Charter 97 site got a mail in which a witness of the events claims that he and 7 more were detained after the actions. Acoording to Humab Rights Center “Viasna” Mikita Abramenin was among the detained.
