On 17 April Halina Siuchyk, mother of the political activist Viachaslau Siuchyk, phoned to journalists and told the following: people in black leather jackets appeared in her porch. They stood on the stairs. Several minutes later the lights in her flat went off. She called to electricians, but didn’t open the door because the unknown persons could enter the flat. In several minutes several policemen from Special Forces started ringing on the door and demanded to open the door.

At 9 p.m. Iryna Kazulina and Valery Shchukin came to Halina Siuchyk’s flat. The local police inspector who was allowed to enter the flat, showed to her a photo of her son and explained that he was wanted as a criminal.

Viachaslau Siuchyk was detained in Kastrychnitskaia in Minsk during the peaceful protest action against the rigged election. He was beaten into cranial trauma and taken to a hospital, from which he managed to escape. Now the police want to find him so that he could be sentenced to arrest for participation in the protest action.
