In both cases the police confiscated the system blocks of their computers, calendars, informational flyers about the present electoral campaign, several copies of flyers from previous campaigns and some newspapers. The search was sanctioned by Masty District Procurator’s Office and was conducted by the police of Masty District Board of Internal Affairs. Karpovich and Pudaukin were informed the search was connected to the investigation into the activity of the unregistered public organization Partnership. We should remind that several days before a criminal case under part 3 of article 293 of the Criminal Code (preparation to mass riot) was brought against the citizen of the town of Masty Andrei Panasik. Liavon Karpovich and Aliaksandr Pudaukin stated they had nothing to do with Partnership and simply took an active part in the electoral campaign.
