Baranavichy: Political Prisoner Mikalai Statkevich Taken to Special Commandant’s Office instead of Hospital

On 1 March the chair of Brest regional headquarters of Aliaksandr Milinkevich Iury Hubarevich was going to pass to Mikalai Statkevich the certificate of Milinkevich’s proxy, but didn’t manage to do it.
-- The police prohibited me to pass to Statkevich the certificate, but he managed to tell me that when he was returned home from work, the police and workers of the special commandant’s office were waiting for him there. Knowing he was ill they proposed to him to pack in and promised to take him to a hospital. However, on the way they said they would take him to the commandant’s office instead, where he would cure himself.
There was no possibility to boil water there. Besides, according to the internal instructions, people aren’t fed there. Mr Statkevich also said it was quite cold in the building. Besides, he didn’t rule out he could be sent to some other region, as it happened to Andrei Klimau and stated that workers of the open penitentiary facilities could receive the appropriate orders about it in connection to the upcoming election.
