According to Viktar Miaziak, a BPF Party member from Baranavichy, police visited him in his apartment and made a report registering an administrative violation by terms of Article 167 CAV (unauthorized event).
The case concerned the action held in support of the independent press on December 10, when the Baranavichy local patriots made a chain at 12 o'clock along the main post office, holding the Nasha Niva and the Narodnaia volia in hands. After half a year, the action participants went to the middle of the post office, where they filled out subscription requests for the banned newspaper. After getting denials with subscription, the activists made several remarks in the books of complaints. Representatives of all opposition parties and public organizations of the city took part in the action.
Then the police did not detain anyone, but now they started to visit people in the apartments and make reports. Two days ago the police came to Arkadz Blinkouski, Siarhei Housha and Viktar Syrytsa, who recently lost his job with the law college, for organizing in the educational institution a meeting with the united opposition candidate Aliaxandr Milinkievich.
The Baranavichy activists do not sign the reports made.
The hearing in court is due on December 28 at 10 a.m.
