The deputy chair of Babruisk City Executive Committee for Ideology Mikhail Kavalievich banned the local newspapers to advertise the arrival in Babruisk on 24 November of the leader of democratic Belarus Aliaxandr Milinkievich..
According to Alies Chyhir, a deputy of Babruisk City Council, who is one of the organizers of Aliaxandr Milinkievich’s visit, the democratic forces activists asked the editorial offices of the local newspapers Kamiertsyiny kurier and Viacherni Babruisk to advertise the hot telephone line of Aliaxandr Milinkievich with the city residents.
One of the newspaper had even accepted advertisement charges however after the officials of the city executive committee interfered, the editorial office decided not to print the advertisement and refunded the transferred money to the hot line organizers.
Despite the obstacle created by the local authorities, the Support Center of Aliaxandr Milinkievich said that the hot telephone line of the united pretender with the Babruisk residents would take place as planned - on November 24 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. over the phone number (8 0225) 48 27 52

We would like to remind you that Aliaxandr Milinkievich plans to come to Babruisk on November 24 at 10 a.m. The visit, apart from the hot telephone line, also includes a public meeting at the market with businessmen, the local intellectuals, working people, activists of the democratic parties and organizations, and also a press conference for the journalists of the local and the national media.
