National Library collectors refuse to accept books by Vasil Bykau and assist with their distribution

Back in July during the presentation of the first three books of the 14 volume collection of works by Vasil Bykau it was announced: the entire circulation will be fast distributed over the libraries of the country. However, even at the end of autumn almost all of the books by Bykau are still at the Union of Writers of Belarus.
Alies Pashkievich, Chair of the Union of Writers of Belarus, explains the reasons: "We faced the problem: National Library collectors refuse to accept books by Vasil Bykau and assist with their distribution. We sent two official letters on behalf of the Union of Writers to the Minister of Culture and Information, asking for assistance with free distribution of the books, but we have received no answer so far".
Alies Pashkievich is convinced that this way or another each library of the country will receive a free complete collection of works by Vasil Bykau. He said that the other day they finished the layout and prepared for printing another part of works by Vasil Bykau – the fourth, fifth and sixth volumes. The next three volume collection of books will be presented during Christmas Holidays.
