The state leader has warned the state media reporters against “excessive zeal” when covering the upcoming referendum. He voiced this piece of advice on September 21 during his meeting with National TV Company staff.
Lukashenka thinks the campaign should be done “carefully, in order not to incite the people we want to get against us, and not to irritate our supporters who at present make up 60-65%”. A. Lukashenka is sure there is no need to “show the right way” to the reporters after 10 years of his presidency. “Actions speak themselves”, -- he says.
