Several activists of the United Civic Party joined the hunger-strike of the Respublika group MPs Fralow, Skrabets and Parfianovich. On Saturday morning, June 5, UCP members Maryna Bahdanovich and Henadz Ananyew made a tent camp in the yard of the building where MP Fralow lives. The police detained them and seized the tents. Now the UCP activists face trial.
Bahdanovich and Ananyew were released from police station in several hours. The police charged them with violation of the law about mass events. On 7 June the detained are supposed to come to the trial. However, they are not going to come to court. Instead, they are going to continue the hunger strike together with the MPs.
Hrodna UCP activists Uladzimir Chyrvonenka and Yury Istomin also joined the hunger strike.
